We have our first tooth and Happy Birthday Daddy
Happy Birthday Jon! We love you Daddy!
On our way home today I saw her first tooth! It is so precious! Juliet spent 4 days in Liberty with Mama and Papa while Mommy needed to be there for Aunt Kimby and then Mommy had a wedding to shoot. We continue to ask for your prayers for the Pickett and Joiner families in this unbelievably rough time.
Thank you so much Uncle Derek for keeping Juliet while we attended the funeral. It was so nice to know that she did not have to be out in 100 degree heat.

6 months old
Happy Half Birthday Miss Juliet Claire, she is 6 months old today.
Mommy had some sniffles this morning when I realized my baby is six months old. It just doesn't seem possible that it has already been that long. Where has the time gone. So much has happened and she is growing so fast. You can't leave her alone anywhere or she will roll over or try to crawl away. She is a pro at sitting up and the helicopter to get where she wants to go. It is funny to hear her when she is mad because it sounds like she is saying "Mama Help". Granddad even noticed it this weekend and asked if she just said help. I found her a new sippy that she likes. She likes the Avent sippy because she can chew on it better. Speaking of chewing, she bit me tonight with that tooth that is breaking through. You can't see it yet, but you can feel it, especially when she gnaws on your chin. We have started sitting up in the bathtub splashing the water after her bath. Mommy gets soaked, but Juliet has a blast. So much in so little time.

We hate shots
Juliet is 16 lbs 14 ozs and 28 inches long. She had to have her last Hep B shot this time. I took her by myself. That was a mistake, I think i cried harder than she did. I read in Parents magazine about a numbing cream that I am going to ask for next time. I hate to see her suffer. I know, I know, don't say it.

Sitting by herself
Happy Father's Day, if I don't get to post later this week, I want that there!
You know me, I always put prayer requests on this page. Please pray for little Ben, his family, and the Doctors and Nurses at Memorial Herman Children's hospital. It's hard enough when an adult is sick, but it is almost impossible when it is a baby. I took off Friday and spent most of the day at the hospital with Kimberly and Russell. It was hard for me to watch them have to go through this.
Juliet is now sitting by herself. She had been trying for a while and now has the balance thing down. If you can believe it on the 23rd she will be 6 months old. My baby is growing too fast for me.

All sorts of fun
How is it June already?
Congratulations to Russel and Kimberly Pickett on the birth of their son Benjamin Lawrence. He was born June 5, 2009.
Congratulations to Nathan and Nicole Lino on the birth of their daughter Chole Reese. She was born June 5, 2009. This is Uncle Derek and Aunt Jessie's 6th niece and nephew, three have been born in the last 6 months!!.
After 10 days of forcing Amoxicillin down Juliet's throat for an icky nose, Juliet has to go back to the doctor on Monday because she is still stuffed up. This is not good for breathing or sleeping.
We had pictures taken of Miss J in her baptism dress and her swimmy. She is such a ham, I love it. She was tired but smiled so big for the camera. I bought her a kiddy pool that we are going to try tomorrow if it is beautiful like it has been. Look for vidoes later for this experiment.

5 months old
Juliet is 5 months old, Mommy is sad. I want her to stay a baby a little longer. Sometime during the last update and today, Juliet started holding her bottle during her night feeding, if she wakes up hungry. She will tell you I am making it up but it has happened a few times now.
If you have never heard the sound a stuffed up baby makes through a baby monitor, be glad, it sounds so sad. Juliet has a cold with a stuffy nose and a wet cough. She is back on her favorite pink medicine that mommy has to shove down her throat. We have also elevated her mattress and I sometime wonder if she thinks it's a toy because she moves around alot now that it is up some.
Juliet was such a little fairy princess for her baptism. She was so good and only a little fussy after he poured the water on her head. She proved to be a little angel and got to see her family too, there ended up being 16 family members there, not including the 3 of us. Thank you everyone for braving the storm, it meant alot to us that you were there. We had an awesome lunch after that Mama and Papa treated us to.
Jon's family stayed with us for the weekend so they could attend the baptism. I wanted everything to be perfect and right off the bat Juliet gets sick and wants to be a clingy baby. She was so miserable but got to spend some quality time with the grandparents and great-grandparents.

Long Overdue
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTORIA! May 22
Juliet is 15.9 lbs and is 26 1/4 inches long
So much has happened in the last month it is hard to know where to begin.
Nana had a very successful heart surgery, we know that God is watching over our family closely this year.
Juliet is such the little person now. She has learned to roll from her back to her belly and claps her hands. There is no laying on her back anymore, she whines then rolls over to her tummy and sticks that head straight up. Video to be uploaded soon. We are going through the teething nightmare and I feel like such a terrible mommy because there is nothing I can do for her. We have the Raz Berry teether, the Sophie Giraffe teether, pacis, toys and what does she teeth on??? The flowers that sing to her... go figure. They are pretty gross when she gets done with them. I think I am going to have to take them back and forth to daycare with us because they seem to have one toy that makes noise and she likes the noise.
I had a wonderful First Mother's Day. Jon made it very special for me. We spent the Saturday before Mother's day in Liberty seeing all the family. Then on Sunday we went to church and then to Benihahas where Miss Juliet got to try out her floppy seat. She liked it so much she fell asleep. Mommy really enjoyed lunch.
Juliet had to get 4 shots and 1 oral vaccine on her last visit to the Dr. Mommy knows better but I sent her to school the next day and got a call about 10 that said she was running a 100.9 fever and I needed to come get her. We spent the whole day in mommy's arms. She was so pitiful.
Laura and Jon celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary on the 14th. Too bad we both forgot!! We had a really great mother's day lunch so that could be our anniversary lunch too. Not gonna fly next year though, he has promised me Hawaii and family pictures on the beach.
We helped John and Jessica (Ridley) Daigle celebrate their marriage this past weekend. They have an awesome connection and will have a wonderful life. Jessica is a special friend, I have known her for 12 years and know she is one of the kindest people. I have never seen her as beautiful as she was on Saturday. We love you both, Thank you for allowing us to share in your day, seeing as we did introduce you! BTW that was in the back of their wedding program, here I am sitting in the front of the church almost in tears reading that. And since Amanda Key was the photographer and I know her, she let me shoot some of her setups so I got to spend some quality time with the camera.
This weekend is Juliet's baptism, this is going to go one of a couple of ways, she is going to be fine, she is going to scream, she is going to sleep, or she is going to try to stick the guys hand in her mouth and chew on it. Any takers? She is going to look like a pink fairy princess, I know white is customary, but this is me, you know me.
Love to all, see everyone on Sunday... all 20 of us...
