Happy half birthday buddy bear! Where have the last 6 months gone? He is such a happy and sweet boy, except when he is tired or hungry. He was 18.2 lbs and 28 inches at our last appointment. Watch out sister, he is looking to be bigger than you, soon.
He has started reaching and leaning towards the person he wants. He grabs at everything, earrings, hair, necklace, ears, you name it he wants it. He will also grab on to daddy's face and pull Jon to him with his mouth wide open like he wants to give him a kiss. He now loves his jumperoo, he gets to bouncing and laughing, the other day he wore himself out so much he fell asleep in the jumperoo. He has become so vocal, he coos, screaches, screams, anything to get your attention. Feeding is still chore, he wants to eat, but spits most of it back at me or starts screaming half way thru feeding. I can not just sit him in the high chair, he has to be eating if he is in there. He is not sitting up yet and refuses to hold a bottle so he is at the very demanding stage of wanting to play but not being able to do it on his own. So he has to be entertained. It does seem like he is trying very hard to start crawling already. He likes to be in his bed if he is sleeping, he wants to be on his back (hince the flat head) with his arms over his head when he sleeps. I have tried to lay him on his side or put him on his tummy, but he fusses. O-Well, it will all work itself out!
Nate loves Juliet very much, he is always happy when she is around him. He follows her around with his eyes and head if he can see her.
He has such a personality all his own and wins over everyone he meets. I love you Nate. Happy half birthday!!
Love, Mommy, Daddy and Juliet
